Today the Olympic Flame passed Mac's Convenience Store on Columbia Street in New Westminster. Mac's was cheering and celebrating as the Olympic Flame passed by. As the Torch Runners bring the flame closer and closer to Vancouver and the end of the Torch Run, you can really feel the excitement that is building for the Vancouver Olympics opening cerimony just a couple days away.
Just a block from Mac's Convenience Store in New Westminster the Olympic Torch Flame is passed. Two Olympic Torches are raised and the crowd cheers as the Olympic Flame is handed off.

The Olympic Torch has quite an entourage that travels along with it and this picture shows just one of the many Olympic themed vehicles that preceded the torch runner, just as it passes the Mac's store at Columbia Skytrain station in New West.

It's a pretty original angle that many people might not have been able to see since most of the torch passing happens on land, not on water.
