My name is Blayne Wert and I have just recently moved back to Edmonton! I would make a great team member because:

  • I have a knack for meeting people as I am ALWAYS friendly and upbeat. I can make anyone feel comfortable around me.

  • I work great with others and have strong leadership skills. This has helped me when working in high stress areas and when presented with a deadline.

  • I worked promotions for Northlands Park and did well because I learn all the needed information quickly and I can think on my feet.

  • I used to drive a 35 tonne rock truck so a truck and trailer is more exciting than challenging for me.

  • I am goal driven. When I am given a target to reach, I work to meet and then surpass it.

  • I am creative which is a huge help when it comes to setting up an eye catching promotions area at events. This has also given me a style that stands me out from the rest of the crowd and opens all kinds of doors.

  • Speaking of which, I have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. In the past week alone I have been given tickets by complete strangers for three separate events. If there is opportunity in a situation, I will find it.

  • I am a 'Wikipedia' of knowledge. I am always open to new ideas and to expanding on what I have already learned.

  • I am constantly aware of my surrounding and am rarely caught off guard because of this.

  • Not only do I love children, but they love me back. We have some unsaid bond regarding my massive amounts of freckles.

  • I am both a cat and a dog person. I couldn't possibly chose one species over the other, meaning I get along with EVERYONE!

Over the years, through working so closely with people I have developed a very adaptable personality. I can cope with most situations on the fly, and have a wide range of other activities on the go!
Through the local shows I have put on and am now running my own art studio/jam space I have to deal with fast-paced situations: ensure the bands/artists are actually coming, the hall is booked, the sound guy is on time, putting up posters(and creating them!), chase after the people who ran through the door, and all the other fun things you get to deal with. But when all is said and done, there is nothing that puts a smile to my face faster than to see people happy and dancing, and in this particular case with a froster in-hand! In addition to running my own music/art studio I have planned and hosted local community markets, and as I have said before put on a variety of local all-ages shows!
This job will give me first hand experience that will pertain to my near-future career! As well as help me save up for the schooling I need to receive before getting said-job! I will soon be going in for Web Design and Interactive Media at the Art Institute of Vancouver. In saying that, I have had years of experience with blogging(computers in general), photography, video/audio, etc!
If you pick me you won't be disappointed!

Peace and love,
Cheryl

Hello fellow Froster lovers!

My name is Farah and I believe I have what it takes to be part of the Froster street team!! As soon as I saw this opportunity, I knew it was made for me!

Meeting, talking and getting to know new people is my thing! Working in retail for an infamous clothing company for almost three years truly teaches you how to approach people and sell, sell, sell! Additionally, it taught me to deal with a strong, but fun, work ethic! As well, I have worked in promotions for more then two years now in a big time broadcasting company. That definitely taught me a lot about promoting!

Not only do I have the experience for this amazing opportunity, I have the personality!

I am very hardworking, social and simply FUN! I enjoy making people smile, laugh and have a good time! That's all part of life!

Raised in Vancouver, I quickly learned the ropes around town. Where the people are, where the fun is, where the Frosters are. This summer, I have complete faith that my team and I could possible make the town crazy for Frosters! The people, the fun, the street team and the amazingly-delicious Frosters will join together to make this summer LEGENDARY!

I'm Ashley and I'm determined to be a member of Calgary's Froster Street Team!

I would make an impressive member because I'm not at all afraid of people or unfamiliar places. I actually enjoy not knowing what exactly to expect, it provides excitement which means a great deal to me because I absolutely dread boredom! That's why I can always be found doing something rather than just wasting time and with that said I've wasted no time brainstorming ideas of where I want to take the Froster Street Team.

Having grown up in Calgary, I'm more than familiar with huge events such as the Stampede to every day summer hot spots like community lakes and Calaway Park. I plan to use this knowledge on focusing where Frosters will be most successful and appreciated by the people of Calgary and tourists all around. I'll especially be looking for the individuals who have never tried a Froster before where I can then step in and introduce them to a treat they've been missing out on. That will definitely be a kodak moment I can capture to add to my document of adventures!

I'm fully capable of working independently without supervision and taking charge. This being proven while being a retail brand ambassador for Nintendo during the Christmas season and even being offered another contract to work with them again.

I love interacting with all sorts of people, I don't judge and am all smiles. Even when frustrated I still manage to wear a smile because let me tell you, remaining positive goes a long way and smiling makes everything easier. I'm friendly to everyone while at the same time remaining professional, let's not forget this is a job after all!

You can depend on me to cool off as many people possible with yummy Frosters!
